This Air Band Antenna is an external base station antenna designed for optimum reception of air band signals. Installing this antenna will result in a dramatic improvement in signal reception. Made with fibreglass construction, it ensures a long life. The antenna comes with 4 radials that can be easily screwed in and attached to a mast using the provided hardware. The connector is an "N" type, so an "N" plug is required to fit it to your coax cable. We supply the co-axial cable separately. This antenna is compatible with the iCOM IC-A120E which is the ground station radio that we sell. It operates at a frequency range of 117-140MHz, has an impedance of 50 Ohms, a power of 150W, a gain of 2.15dBi, and a VSWR of 1.5:1 (typical). The antenna has 4 radials, each measuring 59cm, and fits masts up to 5cm. It has an overall length of 82.5cm and weighs 1kg.
