Type 44 and Type 55 is high quality, harsh environment wire to be used for avionic installations as specified by EASA. This wire is what we use to do all our radio and panel wiring jobs - it is very good quality, easy to solder and highly resistant to abrasion.
12AWG - Ideal for replacing battery power lines in two seaters or for other high current uses.
16 AWG - Ideal for use to replace main battery power supply lines.
16 AWG (RED) - Ideal for use to replace main battery power supply lines. Red in colour to represent a positive line.
18 AWG - Ideal for wiring up instrument panels and power lines for radios (radio power supply lines usually 18 or 20AWG).
20 AWG - Ideal for wiring up instrument panels and making harnesses for radios.
22 AWG - Ideal for making up harnesses for radios or other instruments.
24 AWG - Ideal for making up harnesses for radios or other instruments.
20 AWG SHIELDED - Ideal for microphone and speaker wiring.
