This is the rear seat repeater unit for the LX8030. With the same size format as the LX8030, it is designed to fit into the rear seat of a two seat glider and includes a 57mm i8 vario repeater or can be upgraded to include an 80mm i80 vario repeater.

Any LX90xx/LX80xx rear seat repeater can be used with any LX90xx/LX80xx front seat unit. This means for example you could have a larger display (LX9000) in the front, and a smaller display (LX9050 or LX8040 or LX8030) in the back where space might be more of a premium.

High-end vario navigation system. The ideal instrument for those who would like to keep their instrument panel as it is. The 80mm sized LX8030 comes packaged with a V8 variometer (optionally with V80). The built in 4.0″ anti-glare display fits into a standard 80mm panel hole and has 2.8” active display size. An automatic light sensor adjusts the brightness and optimizes the power consumption.

Very easy selection of Waypoints with an intuitive user interface. Create a task on the device or in SeeYou and simply load it via the SD, USB or Wi-Fi.

The AAT assistant shows the most optimized direction for maximum speed on the task. A very accurate time calculation helps you to arrive home precisely on time.

FLARM Mode.

This feature displays all types of FLARM objects. ADS-B and PCAS objects can also be displayed if compatible, external devices are connected.

FLARM Visual Radar With Audible Warnings.

The Radar shows all necessary data. The target’s present position, altitude and vertical speed are displayed on the map. For each new alert a pop-up appears automatically when a potential collision occurs. The system will also trigger a sound and/or voice warning.
