The main advantages against metallic covers:
- They don’t peel
- They do not shrink / stretch like metallic
- They are more resistant to strong sun and UV exposure
- Temperature is usually 3 degrees lower in the cockpit than when using silver covers
- Our covers are optimized on each hinge and have a small opening at the DV panel so you can lock the cockpit.
In the vast majority of gliders, the cockpit can also be closed and locked when the cover is on.
